It is impossible to apply simple, common-sense fixes in government when they operate in a forum of almost arbitrary complexity.  It is of primary importance for every government to enshrine simplicity and efficiency.

In practical terms, we need to bring things fast down in scale.  No one can possibly be "worth" a billion times anyone else, for instance.  The scale of complexity of the real work already requires extreme delegation of powers to manage effectively, practically eliminating efficiency.  On top of which, there is the entire edifice of imaginary value, from legal fictions to the advertising industry, which Must crumble to ever achieve sustainability, much less civilization.
